Beware the Straightjacket of Intellect
There is a way of seeing the world that traps us—not physically, but mentally. It is the straightjacket of intellect, where logic alone tries to dominate a reality that was never meant to be controlled, only understood and respected.
Look at nature.
At first glance, the jungle appears chaotic—bugs crawling, fungi spreading, creatures moving unpredictably. In places like Costa Rica or Australia, you’ll see animals that seem almost prehistoric. Everything looks random, even overwhelming.
But it’s not.
It’s perfectly ordered.
The very fact that these ecosystems have existed for millions of years proves their balance. If there were no order, they would not survive. What appears chaotic to the human mind is often a deeper intelligence we have not yet learned to see.
And yet, we arrive as humans—armed with intellect—and immediately try to impose our version of logic onto something that already has its own.
Where We Go Wrong
We often try to command, control, or change nature, believing our thinking is superior. Sometimes good comes from this—but often, the harm reveals itself later.
What we thought was “good” turns out not to be.
What is truly good is often simple: working with nature, not against it.
This principle applies to everything.
Today, many decisions are made from ego, fear, separation, and opinion.
When decisions come from these states, they are almost always flawed. That’s why history repeats itself.
The Intelligence of the Body
The mind is not separate from the body.
The body holds its own intelligence—far beyond what we often acknowledge. It heals, balances, and regulates itself with what could be described as thousands of internal pharmacies.
The real question becomes:
How do we support the body’s natural intelligence instead of overriding it?
Too often, we interfere rather than assist.
The Noise of Modern Thinking
We live in a time where opinion often replaces fact.
Media, politics, and social narratives can pull the mind into endless loops of argument and division. Logic, when disconnected from truth, can tie us into knots—creating more confusion rather than clarity.
The intellect begins to feed on itself.
Like chewing endlessly without nourishment.
And in that state, something important is lost:
Self-awareness.
If we cannot admit when we are wrong, we cannot grow.
If we defend our position at all costs, we stop learning.
Choosing a Different Compass
So how do we choose what is right?
Not through intellect alone.
For me, the answer is simple:
The heart becomes the guide.
If something causes harm out of anger or revenge → it is wrong.
If something divides people unnecessarily → it is not worth it.
If something costs you a friendship over ego or opinion → it is too expensive.
Not everything requires engagement.
Not every battle needs to be fought.
A Thought on Leadership
We often elevate leaders based on money, visibility, or power—not wisdom.
Imagine a different system:
Leadership chosen from integrity and evolution, not wealth
Accountability based on performance, not position
The ability for the people to adjust leadership when necessary
A system that grows with consciousness, not control.
Final Thought
WHEN INTELLECT TRIES TO CONTROL LIFE, IT CREATES CHAOS.
WHEN WE ALIGN WITH THE NATURAL ORDER OF LIFE, CLARITY EMERGES.
THE HEART SEES WHAT THE MIND CANNOT.
