ADVICE FROM A FRIEND
Curiosity takes us in the direction of asking: Who are we? Why are we here? What is our purpose? And where do we go when we die?
One of the questions that has been asked by the ancients, reaching back probably into pre-recorded history, is this:
Who am I?
The first answer is almost always a surface-level answer.
I am human.
I am a teacher.
I am this, and I am that.
But those are answers that exist within the separated realm. As you continue asking that question, and as you follow the threads wherever they lead, you naturally begin to move beyond that realm and into the realm of the true Self.
There, the answer is no longer found in words. It is found in knowing.
It is found through the direct experience of consciousness itself.
That experience is what transforms reality.
As you begin to ask these questions and embrace the greater reality outside of the small self, something beautiful starts to unfold.
Simply, we would say to all of you reading this how deeply honored we are to be invited to work with you—not just through this program, but upon your world.
As was said previously, this is a sacred time upon your planet.
We do not want you to feel discouraged.
We do not want you to live in fear.
Though we understand that what you see around you may appear fearful, do your best to remember, to know, and to feel that you are infinitely loved by many in the unseen realms and infinitely assisted by many in the unseen realms.
Do the inner work that you need to do, and trust that this is enough.
Trust that your own healing, your own growth, and your own awakening are ways of being of service during this great transformation.
Please accept all of our love and all of our gratitude for each and every one of you.
I, Kip, have been taught for over thirty-seven years that one of our goals is to be loving, lovable, and loved during our visit on this planet.
I have been taught that we are all connected.
If we truly looked at what affects one, affects all, then the question would naturally arise:
Why are we hurting ourselves?
The answer may be that divisive sociological teachings from the past have separated us by color, race, religion, nationality, politics, and money.
Yet beneath all of those labels, we remain connected.
In everything there must be balance.
If there is no balance, the scales become tipped in one direction.
At one end of the teeter-totter is a happy child soaring high into the air.
At the other end sits a child on the ground, patiently waiting for her turn to fly.
Life is often like that.
One side rises while the other waits.
Then the balance shifts.
We are experiencing now what I was told would happen back in 1987 by the Council of Light.
They spoke of a spiritual split—not between good and bad people, but between different states of consciousness.
I was told many things that were difficult to believe.
I was told that weather is directly related to our collective consciousness and the energetic state of humanity.
I was told that abortion was not a sin because, according to this teaching, the spirit leaves the fetus when it recognizes that the biological shell is about to be aborted. While the body does not continue, the spirit moves on and prepares to enter another experience.
These were teachings that challenged many of my existing beliefs.
So here is what I say to my friends:
Keep an open mind, but don’t let your brains leak out.
Ha ha.
There is so much that I do not know.
And I find many of these teachings astonishing, especially those that lean toward peace, harmony, acceptance, compassion, and the most powerful force of all—love.
When gazing into the eyes of an animal or into the eyes of a baby, something extraordinary can happen.
The self-doubt disappears.
The worries disappear.
The endless mental chatter disappears.
For a moment, you simply become love.
And in that state, even the sense of personal identity seems to dissolve.
Why does the identity disappear when we enter a state of pure love?
Is the identity we cling to really who we are?
Or is there a higher reality beyond it?
Perhaps there is a greater aspect of ourselves that taught us how to enter this physical experience in the first place.
Many teachings are beautiful.
Many teachings are incomplete.
Many teachings are simply wrong—not because they are evil, but because they were used to steer us toward certain beliefs.
Just as a boat can drift off course while traveling through a dense fog, humanity can drift when clarity is lost.
But once the fog lifts, the direction one wishes to travel becomes easier to see.
I have experienced that external mechanical and electronic devices can give me brief, paper-tiger glimpses of happiness.
The happiness arrives.
Then it fades.
I was taught that when one thing gets old, simply buy a new one.
Unfortunately, that philosophy has sometimes spilled over into relationships and even marriage.
I noticed that much of the news was negative.
Very little positivity was being pumped into our homes through the television.
I noticed that we were told to work hard, never stop, and eventually we would receive everything we needed.
Then I began asking myself:
How is nature functioning without a monetary hierarchy?
How do the trees grow?
How do the birds sing?
How do the oceans move?
How do flowers bloom?
What is nature connected to that we have forgotten?
What have we not yet tapped into?
What needs to be experienced more deeply—not just in the mind, but in the heart, in the stomach, and throughout the entire body?
Love is the most powerful force in the universe.
When we release ourselves from endless thoughts about what is right and wrong with ourselves and others, judgment begins to fall away.
The curtain lifts.
The Wizard of Oz is revealed.
The illusion is exposed.
And what once appeared so powerful can then be gently released—mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
Perhaps this is why we are here.
Not to become perfect.
Not to win.
Not to be right.
But to remember.
To remember who we truly are beneath the labels, the fears, the accomplishments, and the struggles.
To remember that we belong to one another.
To remember that kindness heals.
Compassion heals.
Forgiveness heals.
And love heals.
As this great awakening of consciousness continues, may we learn to walk more gently with one another.
May we become less interested in proving our differences and more interested in discovering our connection.
May we recognize that every person we meet is carrying a story we may never fully understand.
And may we choose love anyway.
If there is one lesson I have learned from a lifetime of waves, rescues, hardships, miracles, and spiritual exploration, it is this:
Love remains.
Long after the arguments are forgotten.
Long after the fears have passed.
Long after the body returns to the earth.
Love remains.
And perhaps that is who we have been all along.
